2nd meeting on Mathematical Modelling in Biology and Medicine

General Information

The meeting will focus on cancer modelling and therapy, angiogenesis, pattern formation, cell motility, cell cycle. The aim is to bring together major researchers in these fields of the bio-mathematics and to allow for the interaction of these last with young researchers in an informal setting. The lectures will be intended for a wide audience.

The meeting is supported by the Université d'Évry Val d'Essonne, the Marie Curie Research Training Network Modelling, Mathematical Methods and Computer Simulation of Tumor Growth and Therapy and the GRIP GdR.

Présentation

La rencontre portera sur la modélisation du cancer, l'angiogenèse, le mouvement des cellules et le cycle cellulaire. Le but est de réunir des chercheurs de haut niveau sur ces sujets et de favoriser les échanges avec les jeunes chercheurs dans un cadre informel. Les conférences s'adresseront à un large auditoire.
