Access by train (RER) :
-
The Analysis and Probability Lab of the University of Evry can be reached by train only with the RER D.
-
The RER D stations in Paris are : "Gare du Nord", "Chatelet" and "Gare de Lyon". During the rush hours, the passage frequency is approximately one train every 15'.
-
From Paris, one can also take the RER C up to "Juvisy" and then the RER D up to "Evry-Courcouronnes".
-
The closest station to the University of Evry is Evry-Courcouronnes (the station name should be written on the display panels on the RER platform). Do not take any train to the Evry station, which is 15' away by bus from the University (the trains stopping at Evry station never stop at Evry-Courcouronnes station).
-
From "Paris Gare de Lyon" to the Analysis and Probability Lab, one should count around 35' by a fast train, and 50' by a slow one.

A very useful advise : before leaving, check the day's traffic perturbations here.
